College Credit Information
Emporia State University’s Graduate Office requires attendees who wish to obtain graduate credit(s) to submit an online application at https://www.emporia.edu/grad/admissions/ as a non-degree seeking student and pay $25 application fee through their website. Attached are the instructions (how to apply) on this email. Those teachers who would like to pay for this 1 graduate credit can bring a check on the workshop day ($253.50, payable to Emporia State University).
It is recommended those teachers to submit their online application asap, because it usually takes Graduate office staff about 24 to 48 hours to process online applications. Once the applications are fully processed, students will receive an email with their username and a temporary password to log in Buzz In. If they can contact Distance Education office day after the workshop day at 877-332-4249 with their Student Id (E number), I can get them enrolled them into the course.
If the student has an active record with ESU (taken courses within the past 3 years), they may not need to submit a new application. It is would be recommended all those teachers who wish to obtain this one graduate credit to contact the Graduate School at gradinfo@emporia.edu or 620-341-5403/800-950-4723 to check their student status.
For questions that students may have, have them to contact Jenny at 877-332-4249 or 620-341-5385 and she will be happy to answer questions via phone that day.
