All districts in Kansas have been trained to administer the ASQ-3 and the ASQ:2-SE and schedules for families to complete it are underway. Included in the planning process it is important for districts to understand how to interpret the results and take full advantage of the benefits of the screener. During this session a brief overview of the ASQ-3 and the ASQ:2-SE, ways districts are planning to administer it and how the results will be utilized by the Kansas State Department of Education will be shared. In addition, participants will learn how to interpret the results to families in a sensitive and meaningful manner that will help build rapport and trust between the school and family.
